Screen Queensland Development Funding Doco - AI Content Creation

Supported through Screen Queensland development funding, this project explored how Artificial Intelligence could be used to preserve and reimagine history for modern audiences. Using photographs discovered in Vignacourt, France, we transformed century-old images of Australian soldiers into living, moving portraits, creating an emotional connection between past and present. We also recreated key moments from World War I as cinematic sequences, combining historical research with advanced AI-powered content creation to visualise stories that could never be captured through traditional production methods. The project demonstrated how emerging technologies can unlock new approaches to documentary storytelling, historical preservation, and audience engagement.
